The Bay Lights

Join Dorka Keehn, head of development for The Bay Lights, for an informative presentation on the project’s status at the November Public Policy Forum. The Bay Lights is an iconic 25,000 LED light sculpture designed by internationally renowned artist Leo Villareal for the west span of the Bay Bridge. This public artwork has drawn unanimous support from Governor Brown, Lt. Governor Newsom, Mayor Lee and major arts organizations including the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. Based on an independent impact study, The Bay Lights will conservatively add $97 Million to the local economy. The Grand Lighting Ceremony is slated for March 6, 2013.
