Event Description:

Small Business Issues Forum

Wednesday, October 5

12-1:30 pm

The Small Business Issues Forum provides a monthly venue for small business owners to meet, share information and educate one another. The central focus is on issues pertinent to operating, maintaining and growing a small business in San Francisco. All small business owners who are Chamber members are invited to attend to discuss their concerns.

October Topic: Join Craig Ackerman, president of Ackerman Realty Group and co-chair of the Chamber’s Business Alliance group, for an insightful presentation on How to Work a Room. A seasoned networker, Craig will detail how to maximize your time in any networking situation, including how to remove yourself from conversations and how to find the people you are looking for. Craig currently heads up the Chamber’s Friday morning Business Alliance networking group, which last year successfully closed over $350,000 in business. He has previously presented on similar topics for San Francisco’s Small Business Week.

The Small Business Issues Forum meets from 12 – 1:30 pm every first Wednesday of the month in the Chamber Bay Room. Attendees are invited to bring lunch.

This is a free event for Chamber members. Attendees are encouraged to RSVP by registering online. For questions or further information please call (415) 352-8818 or email pzamudio@sfchamber.com.
